In about 3 hours I start my final final-exam. I'll be taking it with the very same pencil that I used to complete my first homework assignment, 6 years ago. I don't usually get all emotional about stuff, but for some reason, once it occurred to me that I had been using it all this time, it got to me. Over the last 6 years I've been through a lot of of struggles and turmoil; memories, good and bad; and the one thing that was always with me was this stupid pencil.  |

Nice, I like those; the ones with the side clicker to advance the lead (at least it looks that way from the pic). I have some similar to that one that I use for sketching when I’m away from my studio.
Grats on being done! I remember the elation I felt when I graduated... It was one of the best times of my life.

That is an ugly pencil.
LOL! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, or some such cliche. I like the idea of getting it framed, maybe a shadowbox or something. And yeah, it's one of those side clicker ones. Thanks for wishing me luck, this is going to be a beastly exam. |

Maybe you keep losing it because, subconsciously, you know it is an ugly pencil and you want to be rid of it. Try getting a nice pencil, then you will stop losing it. That's my advice! |
