all too slowish...

I guess what I'm after is like, if you:
- played Judas Priest - Painkiller and Slayer - Disciple at the same time
- Added Wumpscut - Soylent Green
- Added Armageddon Dildos - Sex Monster
- Added a couple of jackhammers on continous full speed
- Added the machine gun fire from the beach scene in Saving Private Ryan as extra drums
- Added the sound of someone throwing their kitchen down the longest stairs in the world
- speed the whole thing up a bit

would maybe be a bit too guitar'y, but otherwise, something like that would get a bit closer at least

So are you just yanking our chain like thinkingthing did a bit back or what? Just wondering is all...

Nah, I'm not yanking your thingie...

The thing is; Sometimes I get the urge to listen to something hard and fast music... but the industrial/idm area of music, whatever I pick it seems to be a vangelis track with with more distorted instruments, or a slow pop track with heavily distorted vocals. Hard & fast != Distortion, but when getting music & suggestions and links to harder music, it's not really harder at all, it's just more distorted...

It's kinda like going to a restaurant asking for strong food, and you get ketchup. And when you ask if they have anything stronger you just get more ketchup...

Dunno, my links dont really seem that distorted. Just a lot of bass.

But I suppose youre partly right. At least about the Ketchup example.

Tried X-Fusion?

ofc. not quite what I'm after...

Closest I've come so far (not very far, that is) is:

Controlled Fusion - Incubation Time (some of the songs)
Funker Vogt - Thanks for Nothing (Controlled Fusion mix)
Front Line Assembly - Provision, Plasticity

Einsturzende Neubauten - Steh Auf Berlin  has some of the traits, allthough is far from qualifying

Nine Inch Nails - Ruiner also has some of the traits (but is far too calm to qualify)

Maybe try Biopsy? A side project of the Aghast View guys; pretty hard and fast stuff and a good mix of guitars and electronics.

Yeah and Bile, good stuff... had to dig that one out again after it was mentioned, hehe.
