It's a pretty typical spam bot post. I suppose it is hypothetically possible it is a user but the AOL-style username and spammy first post makes it look a lot like a bot to me.

Damned spambots are getting better and smarter these days. Back at the other forum I mod we got bots that can send private messages and even write semi normal posts before spamming.
Oh, and I also got these spambots on msn, that add you as a user and then act like they are a real person. Very annoying.
