Anyone ever go on one of these? Never heard of it? http://www.gothiccruise.comApparently there is another knock off goth cruise, but this is the original. I have several friends who go every year. |

Sounds fun if you live in the area. Which I dont.
Besides, Im not sure if being on a boat filled with Goths for longer then 8 hours is good for my mental health.....

My DJ mentor, SailorGloom as been to one before, he told me about it. I want to go, I think it would be most awesome.
I like meeting new people, I already met Voltaire, Bloodwire & Y-Luk-O here in Hawaii, though a goth event out at sea, yeah, that's on my "to do" list.

Id do it if they replaced Cruise ship with Nuclear submarine....

i'd go on a cruise
although i have to second that surrounded by true goths for an extended time isnt all that fun ... but the pool will be free since they all should hide under deck .. hehe
i have been to WGW a few times and unfortunately the "goth" part made it that way that only half a day out of three really suited my taste in music
maybe we can do a DG-con with the cruise?
seems like nobody is willing to offer their place as a party ground or will come up with a date even ... cant really blame them

i would never go on one. i've heard too many stories and seen too many pictures. too many snobe and people just begging for you to notice just how weird they are (please, please look at me in disgust...i am begging you!). not to mention they are some perverted mother fuckers who can't take no for an answer from what i've heard. synopsis - i don't want to spend life in prison for strangling some idiot so i will avoid those little trips. instead i will just throw a party and everyone will have a good time and i can control who comes. because you know those fuckers that creep everyone out in your local scene? you know...the guys with the rapist gaze? no one knows them on those cruises. no one knows to watch them. sorry, i am very protective of both guys and gals in the scene.

I would never fit on a nuclear submarine. I am a pretty big guy. My grandfather was my size and he was chosen for his amazing engineering abilities to work on developing the first ill fated nuke sub. Thankfully he was dismissed during the selection process when they saw him. All of those guys are on the bottom of the sea now. Along with a nuclear reactor that terrorists or rogue states would just love to get their hands on. My grandpa was so miffed that he left the navy. Some seemingly bad luck is actually blessing in disguise! Levi |
