SLOVAKIAAAAA!!!
Sorry for my partiality but Im from Slovakia... :P
Although we didnt win, Im proud on our team and their achievement..
That was really good game with everything that can be in ice-hockey:
Goals
Power plays
Hard hits
Run overs
Tactics
Ambitions
Shouting of spectators.. etc..
Wah!
I really laughed at comentator, who had shouted "Handzuš revenge" when Slovakia had shot second goal.. :D
Did anyone see that match?

Ice hockey isnt much of a sport over here. We prefer to look at speed skating (which ironically doesnt happen to be much of a sport in the rest of the world) and obsess on how we lost gold on the 1000 meters.
And whats Handzuz (sorry for spelling it wrong)

Hmm..thats a pity you didnt watch this.. I know ice hockey isnt so popular but that was one of the best matches Ive ever seen...
Never mind that we didnt win, sports sometimes arent only of winning and losing..
You lost gold on the 1000 meters but you can achieve gold in ice-hockey - in final battle with Canada..
And the massacre with Finland.. (6:1) Full marks!

Yeah, when I heard that I laughed for a long time.. :D The best Sportresses and they smoke and drink right on ice.. :D Canada is Slovakia's enemy now, so go go USA! :D |

Even on OG in Vencouver were really hard hits (e.g. in duel with Norway, when some of them hit our player to his head from back so hard, down he bleed) - In soccer is also a lot of blood - torn brows after a headers duel.. |

You dont have to convince me that soccer is a boring game. I was always proud to be that kid that had nooooooo idea what happened during the soccer match the previous night. Instead I was having fun either playing a game or watching a movie. Then again, you would have to convince me to watch a sport like soccer. The only sport so far I found interesting to watch on tv was Rally. |

I love ice hockey. Any sport where half the players are missing a quarter of their teeth is wicked-awesome. It's the only sport I've been able to consistantly watch on tv, no matter the team, and not be bored.
