I don't know if I would describe it as "cute", but given that many americans are egocentric, I can see this description fitting. To me, the errors highlight that someone has learned my language, and I always appreciate that.
Im glad that allmost all on the DGF arent egocentric.. I find that there have been created a group of intelligent, nice and open-minded people who can discuss about everything, as from the "constructing supressors" to the "pink pencil".. :)
Im pretty glad that I discovered this forum and this radio..
Unique music - unique people.. :)
I read very interesting article in one unnamed scientific magazine.. There were an analysis of dependance ones person type on the music he like.
The sample was really analytical - they analyzed more than 32 000 people.
They absolutely declased the listeners of "free scene" - Indie rock and indie at general, they claimed that those people are quite simple and their IQ average is lower than 90.. There were also some informations that tend to drug addiction and absence of planning in life in their community..
Classical music listeners and jazz fans are very creative both. Theyre usually artists or musicians, who prefer creating than thinking and philosophy. The difference is in their openness - Beethoven fans are mostly introverts, jazzmen are extroverts.
"Bitchpop", "danceshit" and "high school musical addicted" listeners are average people, who done theirs work and dont bother to care about that anymore. People like these are majority but there are also the most exceptions. (Exceptions are everywhere, this is only informative analysis)
Heavy metal maniacs, black metal zombies and death metal undeads are surprisingly very mild and empatic inside. Most of them are romantics.. But there are many ways to be romantic, arent they..
Punks, rockers and hopers are very similar (also strangely enough) - That article claimed that these are all extrovert, independent and determined people, who want to have some fun..
There are some difference, of course. The first is in the elementary part of their society - punks has band (usually more than 5 members), rockers are mostly in pair or in smaller group and hopers havent any elementary part (maybe because of their egocentricity) - they only agregate. Their relationships to each other are the weakest instead of punks - band is everything for them.
Another one is in their songs themes, rockers solve mostly global problems in balance with problems with beer and lack of it, punks are trying to fight with problems of political systems equal to systems of drinking and hopers.. I think there is clearer than clear what those are trying to solve.. I think theres also a difference between their intelligence but I let you to make the order yourself..
The country fans are considered to be very hard-working, strenuous and strong characters who dont care about others things too much.. But another source claims that those people are also inclining to suicidal leanings..
As you certainly know, the most related genre to industrial is gothic scene, especially gothic metal.
Some opinions claims that Gothic and Industrial are like jin and jang, the mans and the womans way to express the feeling of modern era.
Womans way is fullfilled fith sorrow, pain, feeling of leave this world and agony but there are also hope, expectations and "naturefication"..
Mans way is full of anger, rage from powerlessness, injustice and decay of everything that is positive by humans greed and inconsideration...
..and therefore surprises me a little what i read there: Industrial fans are generally very clear, intelligent and inovative people, who have very broad area of interest. Their IQ is much higher than average and they use it.
..and I make certain of this fact on this forum.
Creepster nailed this right on, Mike. You get your message across just fine even if sometimes your sentences are a little broken. So what. You don't master a language except to use it often. And I'll stand by what I said, I've seen better sentences from you than people who grew up speaking and writing english their entire lives.
And to keep it on topic (on DG? Never!) I also like Veal Milanese and Technocracy.
Im pleased about that you said.. But its more the inspiration than a compliment for me..
..and youre right, the last post always differ from the first one.. Like in that topic, where they started with industrial music and finished in the middle of debate about the "new pink pencil" :D
