Yup - I like the new site layout too. Nice and streamlined. Colour scheme perhaps a tad light for my own personal taste...but I can certainly live with it :)

I quite like the new site, but I also really like that I can see so many songs on the playlist history list on the current site. So if you don't want to show that many songs on the front page then maybe there could be a link to for example the last 10 or 15 songs in the playlist.

Looks ok, for some reason reminds me of a myspace page though.  I made a mockup to make the page feel like how I remember a lot of webpages  http://tinyurl.com/2dhn28v

So, been futzing around with google chrome to see how I like it. I decided then to look at the new webpage and noticed with chrome that there are rounded corners and a shadow to the darker grey area, whereas this is not the case with IE7.  I like the rounded corners a lot.

Does IE7 just suck that hard?

what she said. i effin hate IE. In fact this site turned me on to Mozilla years ago and i'm content with it. Saw the improvements almost right away. Now i can't stand it when i use someone's PC and all they have is IE. If it's family or a friend i'll dl MO to use even it it's only to look something up =P

So a veeeery belated thank you to Shirow

No round corners in Opera as well.

Then again, Opera isnt the kind of browser you should be using if you want everything to look flashy and nice. And it doesnt bother me anymore.

After having rejigged my own site several times I sympathise with anyone having to make something IE appropriate.

I too like the darker colours, but I am a black grey dark blue silver kind of guy.

I think its great to have the playlist there containing track and album as I like to listen to the rest of the album if I think the track is worthy (or not as the case maybe)

As this is my first time posting, ( I so wanted to say "Long time reader, first time poster" but that would be tacky so I won't) I never read any of the album reviews. I think its important to have a review section of albums. Many people still like to listen to an album and get the feel of the tracks as they run on the album and then pull out the ones they like.

Perhaps an Album rating and when posting, a rating of each track or perhaps standout moments of an album. As I havent been here long enough is there going to be an area ( or is there now) for reviewing live DVD's? Having just watched Skinny Puppy's VNV Nation and preparing for Feindfulg's live DVD I think many of us have an opinion. Perhaps a "Reviews forum" broken down into sub forums?

An enormous amount of work I know, and the fact that sometimes forums sit there and nothing gets posted is terribly annoying for the designer. Other than those minor points the site is an amazing place to find others interested in a similar genre of music.

I think once the "feel" of the site comes into its own the colours and layout will fall into place. Awesome work and I hope the stress levels subside.

Thanks DJ Wolf.

RE: Rounded Corners - not supported in IE6/7/8 or Opera. It's a CSS3 feature. As you can see, it 'gracefully' degrades to right angles.
