Thx. Actually, I feel like bum. I havent had any time to fix all the bugs. I still have to drive around my town and debug all the connection issues. Simon's got the real credit here. His station has been up for as long as I can remember. Are you on droid X, 1, or 2? Yeah, my bad, I can't forget to give credit where it's due - This was one of the first (and still the best) stations for this kind of music that I've found... So yes, a big thanks to Simon too! I'm on Droid 1. A lot of people I know don't like this phone. I absolutely love it.

Can't seem to find the app in the market, and can't get any sound output from the older link. Using a Samsung Epic.
Hi Salah (and anyone else reading this), Today I uploaded the first real version of the Digital Gunfire Player to the app market. In this release, - I brought back the refresh button
- Play/Stop is a toggle
- When you get a call, the app will now stop playing :)
- If the player is playing and some dropout of connection occurs. It will attempt to reconnect and continue to play again.
- There's now a better layout for however you decide to hold device.
- You can hit the menu key on your device to bring up a menu of sorts. Right now the quit button is the only thing that works, so you can stop streaming and close the app pretty quickly now.
- There also short alerts that pop up that tell you the status of the player
. I'm sure there's still some bugs and stuff. I will do my best to fix them. But this should be a lot better than before. Please remember to un-install your old version before getting the new one from the app market. If you get time, please leave a nice comment or rating. ty

Seems to work a lot better, it definitely does reconnect after a dropout now.
I still have to force close it once or twice a day it seems like though, can't figure out what triggers it to crash.
How often does it refresh manually? It doesn't seem to very often unless I forcibly refresh it.
Also, even after I exited the app, when I made or received a phone call, it would still pop up and say it was stopping digital gunfire.

yea... but i still where i left a few bugs.
it refreshes ever 45secs. Or if you hit the button. then again 45secs from there.
As for the stop notice, thats a somethign i forgot to refactor, I plan on moving the phone call stop playing logic into the background service (the part that plays the stream while you do other things on the phone)
I think I'm gonna need some sort of task tracking system.

Still no audio for me. Also I have to turn off my phone to remove the "Digital Gunfire is restarting" message. Not sure the cause of either issue.

You dont have to turn the phone off to force stop an app. Simply just goto Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Select Digital Gunfire > Force stop What make (Droid 1,X,2) and service (T-mobile, VZ, etc) do you have. You are on android 2.1 right?

Got it. I think mine doesn't refresh automatically because I immediately shut off the screen after I start playing and I don't think it refreshes in the background. Not sure whether that is a 'bug' or not really.

Sorry in advance for dumb question, are you sure that the volume is on right? I never did anything special for media output, so if you have a bluetooth it might be making sound there.

It does, I stream mine to a bluetooth receiver in my car. If it switches to my phone, it switches over to bluetooth headset mode and streams music through that.

Yes, I have the volume set correctly. I don't use bluetooth, and if what Shirow is saying has any bearing on it I think the app might be automatically trying to stream audio via the bluetooth. That might bear some looking into.

It requires 2.2 for streaming audio. Sprint still hasn't announced their release fore the Epic either. :-(
