I am going to be in an amateur boxing bout in a little less than a month..., and I am looking for ideas for intro songs....
I am currently looking at:
Phoenix - Decoded Feedback Exterminate, Anhilliate, Destroy - Rotersand Perception (Force Field Infekktion Mix) - God Module Wrapped in Plastic - Combichrist Lightwave ( but in the middle of the song, not at the beginning) - VNV Nation Zombie Nation 2k5 - Grendel
and a few others...
Any suggestions will be welcomed and checked...and if your song is used you win a prize.....
....my admiration, and my autograph after I become a famous cage fighter...

I am going to be in an amateur boxing bout in a little less than a month..., and I am looking for ideas for intro songs.... What's your "ring name"? That might provide some inspiration... Sielwolf " Magnum Force" packs a wallop right off the bat, with a couple up-close&personal audio samples of a probably-.44cal, and then right into the distorted noise. You don't want something that takes a while to "build up", because they generally only play a little bit of it at those bouts. Your choice of Rotersand " Exterminate, Annihilate, Destroy" is good too. Most fighters will choose conventional metahhhl or some lame-o gansta rap, so I'm glad to hear somebody's tappin' the industrial side instead. I'm also partial to mind.in.a.box " Dead End". Skip past the first 50 seconds of the song, though. Check out the lyrics that start just as the ass-kickin' part starts: ... I'm going in.
you block out all doubts, and focus on a single purpose. you dive into the scene before you, your senses assaulted from every possible direction. you can hear the blood throb in your veins, the familiar pang kicking in to keep you calm and make you forget everything else. you feel as in a dream, floating through the huge room, scanning. scanning.
it should be easy now, your state keeps you focused. but you are still aware of the music, boring into your mind, a strange pressure you have never felt before. your focus starts to waver.

I agree....I like a bit of metal...but Industrial is where its at when I want to get into "that mood"...
Im a laid-back non-aggressive guy...but certain songs can ignite the fury, so to speak...
