Hey all, been listening to DG for quite some time. Can't really remember when it began years ago before the much improved website and logo and all that fanciness.

I just was curious about the Recent Track listing and if it could possibly be expanded upon.

I'm not sure how it's done really, probably just some log file. However I was curious because it states "Last 20 Tracks played" but in reality it's showing the last 9 and the currently playing track.

Not a problem of course except that I tend to not be able to pull this info up at any particular time I hear a song I enjoy.

Is it possible to potentially get an ability to view, search, or list the DG Catalog? Many of the artists I know and recognize but often times can't recollect them off the top of my head when I'm out looking to purchase or order their music. So I find myself listening to the station in hopes it comes on again!

I know this sounds rather extensive, and I don't want to impose any additional cpu load on the web server or database or anything or incur any additional costs.

I figure it'd have to be updated into a database somehow. Perhaps someone could whip up some php to parse a playlist into a database. Then when uploading tracks a playlist of all the tracks being added could be parsed into the db to be searchable by a form.

This all leads me to believe that it'd be time probably not well spent since I can browse around on purchase sites I suppose to find what I'm looking for, but as we all know the broad selection of music on DG from all over the world often lends itself to labels that are difficult to find even on sites such as Metropolis.

Perhaps just updating the list to list 20 songs or the last hour or so would be easier? Currently it usually displays the last 30-40 mins depending on the lengths of the tracks. Hell the last 6 hours of songs would be awesome, heh.

Okay sorry for paragraphing the hell out of my first post. If you made it this far, you have too much time on your hands thanks for reading.

I can't publish the entire track listing, but I've been thinking of making an album database. Still working on the details though.

I will be adding this functionality into the new site. the page will show the last 10 songs played, but will also let you search by artist, song name or album.
