Ok, I'm very much looking forward to it. Was just compiling a list of albums to buy (using the search function on the new site - excellent!) and just wanted to hear what's happening.

So, as an update.. review is pretty much working on the dev site. It's still in a basic stage, but you can enter a review and view other peoples reviews of an album. Just going to add some features like a system to tag people as your favorite reviewers etc. Then we will be ready for launch!

i dont know what more features you would add to it, the basic way (as it is now) is sufficient to add reviews in text with an appropriate rating i'll will make use of it as much as possible maybe there's a possibility to list the numbers of reviews per member, showing the reviews by title and the score? this might give indication if people review songs being an ass (low ratings only), euphoric (only ratings of "perfection", or actualy have a varied music taste does that make sense ? |

Yeah, I was thinking of letting other people say that a reviewer is 'preferred' or 'disregarded' and if you get something liek +25 preferred tags, your reviews hold more weight (and get highlighted a different color) and if you get -25 from disregarded your reviews don't count towards the average and are colored differently etc

I would also like a private review function. Just to help you keep track of the songs you like so you know which albums to buy. Together with the public reviews that would certainly make my shopping a lot easier =)
