I don't understand what makes you think Apoptygma Berzerk is not doing the kind of music they want, like Bob Dylan.I'm not sure comparing Dylan to Apop is fair or accurate. We're talking two different genres of music. I also don't get why everyone starts griping about 'selling out' when a band's sound changes. It's called progression, people. Growing as an artist. Whatever you want to call it. Sheesh. "Real rock sounds"?  Whatever. How boring to want to listen to a band whose every album sounds completely the same.

I'm not, and never will be, saying 'Don't change your sound, don't evolve, just keep playing the same old shit cause that's what I like!'. By all means evolve and play what makes you happy. But if you change so drastically as Apop did with the latest album, don't be surprised if the people that were listening to you 10+ years ago aren't so into your new direction. I think it's good for what it is, and glad that they have the integrity to play what they want and not necessarily what people want/expect from them. If :Wumpscut: started sounding like the new Apop, I'd drop Rudy on his head just as fast, and without a doubt be surprised as hell to hear it here... :P
