Hi,

I've never posted on this forum before, although I've been listening to DG for what must be 2-3 years now and I enjoy most of what's being played here a lot, basically It's streaming at my work and home computers almost whenever I'm online.
This wednesday I finally caught a "Fresh Ammo" which for some reason I always miss, and I was a bit dissapointed; 3 tracks from japaneseCARCRASH and 2 from HexRx in the time I was listening to is. (Not the full hour.)
To me, it isn't fresh anymore for the 3rd time in one hour, and a little more variation within the hour would be really awesome. Although I can imagine it's hard to fill 2 hours a week with completely new things, I still think slightly more variation would rock :)

Cheers,

Yeah, I understand - I have been jiggling the generation algorithm for it to try and make it a bit less concentrated like that. It is difficult to have enough new stuff, but I am working on a better balance.

Well, it's kind of built into the concept; I doubt Shirow has the financial means to add new content for each and every show ... Personally, I quite like the shows, especially if there are a couple of tracks from a new artist/album since it quickly gives you an idea of what that artist or that album sounds like. The latest Das Ich album quickly made it onto my "next buy" list just because of the "heavy rotation" :)

Yeah I understand that too, I just felt slightly dissapointed hearing so much similar things in a short timespan. I still love the station though ;)
