I'm looking forward to the PS3 HOWEVER...there is a niggling doubt inside me which thinks that some PS3's or at least the Cable will be recalled about 6 months after getting it;a lot like when the Cables for the slimline PS2 got recalled (speaking from experience). I hope this is not the case,but it's gotta be a hefty machine with all the stuff they're attempting to,or have,packed into it! :roll:

there is a good chance. I beleive they are putting in HDMI 1.3, and that JUST got approved. it'll be one of the first products on the market to use it...not a bright idea to test it out like that... but hey, they want eveything new as posible... thats why its so damn expencive.

Enda the day though,when they're blowing up in peoples faces or setting on fire because the cables are causing the machine to get too hot or make funky noises (like mine's started doing);everybody's gonna be pretty hesitant about paying the near £500 price range for it. :roll:

I've owned the 360 since it acme out and I haven't had a problem with it yet. Only once have I seen the ROD (ring of death), and it went away with me resetting the system. I like the Wii, only thing is, most of the games suck on it and i'm not really looking foward to playing 20 different versions of Mario or Donkey Kong. As far as the PS3 goes, it's a great system, just too damn expensive. I know it's because of the Blu-Ray and what not, but i'm in the market for a gaming system (with some small extras), not a all-in-one home replacement entertainment system. Though I have to give it to Sony, some of the games on the PS3 do look awesome. My view, the 360 will probably comeout on top for the majority of the 3 major systems life, where i'm assuming at the end, the PS3 will probably make it to the top alongside the 360. The novelty gameplay of the Wii will probably wear off in time.

The PS3 is definitely NOT better than the Xbox 360, only in graphics. For online gaming and conventionality, XBL is definitely a more hardcore gamer oriented experience in comparison with the PSN. Either way, add me on both. My gamertag is: DankbIazer (the L is a capital i)
