i decided to post this post into the off topic forum because it'll derail into a a more political post as i realized only in the end
i bet it is fun to live in germany also.
Only country I found my favourite kind of music in the MediaMarkt :p
OMG
i think music/club/festival wise it is nice to live there .. and food
but honestly i got to say that going back after only 2 years of living in canada i didnt like it at all annymore just from the vibes i got
watching tv/news/magazines and listening to people i realized that the social "climate" changed in a way that i find it too tense, superficial and oppressing, not to mention that everybody is complaining about everything (mind you it might be different in more international cities such as hamburg where i lived last and never got this impression)
all this is a completely personal and subjective feeling and might be overreacted as well
might be still better than living in the states though, who want to change their laws in regard to tourists from non-visa needing countries (such as most of western europe including germany)
the potential law coming into action with january next year speaks of an online registration 3 days prior visiting the states as a prevention of traveling terrorists from countries with no need for a tourist visa so far
german link unfortunately

http://www.globalvisas.com/news/register_online_before_visiting_us183.htmlim wondering if that helps ... i already need to give the information of my place to stay, leave a fingerprint and a mug shot
a lot of thoughts are coming into my mind starting with the idea of a police regulated state and some other which i'd rather withhold
all in all it is a shame, because it makes me (once again) reconsider not visiting friends such as swampy, kender and drakino whom i missed out before by trying to boycott previous mentioned traveling regulations
