i had to show the new students around in the institute for emergency and safety regulation's sake (showing exits, fire alarms, emergency shower, fire blanket, etc)

last part was the first aid kit which is in a metal box in a wall mounted box
putting back the kit i frikken cut myself on the edge of the metal lid of the first aid box itself! )=<

i swear i didnt piss into anybodies cerial lately to have deserved that kind of punishment ... geez

Theory is when you know everything and nothing works.
Practice is when things work, and no one knows why.
Here we combine theory and practice.
Nothing works and no one knows why.

What is so damn ironic about this country (England) is that everyone is so damn health and safety aware that they cause more accidents than ever. Myself, I am an accident waiting to unhappen...and they made me chief fire marshall of my company. I have a nice collection of flamable liquids under my desk...no lies.
I think the health and safety Granny state of mind comes from everybody suing company's for silly shit, and if you were here, creepster, you could like sue for millions...it's the english way..

I couldn't agree more, It is becoming the english way.  People trying to sue other people just because they fell over in the street..... As for health and safety, the most ironic thing I saw where I work was a fire extinguisher with a sign saying "out of order"....
