I couldn't get the new work proxy to work in winamp so I had to switch over to windows media player. I can't figure out how to see the song playing. It scrolls "[ DigitalGunfire.com ] - Long Range, Hard Hitting!" all the time. Any ideas?

I've never actually used WMP to listen to it; it's possible it doesn't support the title streaming (although that seems a little strange.)

winamp works fine for me. Are you using the most recent version? If not try upgrading and see if that solves your issue. Alternatively, if you ARE using the most recent version of winamp, try uninstalling it via the add/remove function if you are using windows and try reinstalling it.

honestly ive been using wmp for the past two weeks at work to listen to radiostations and i still dont know how to change anysettings, i just look at the webpage for what ever station im using to see whats playing.
....
A google search seems to turn up that WMP doesnt ask for the metadata that displays the song titles. I saw it on an internet forum it must be true.

Well WMP is dumb. I've just been keeping the info mode popup displayed to keep track of the current song.
