Well, hi there.
I'm currently looking for a good ringmod/dist to give a little bit more "bite" to my vocal parts. I'm not looking for those really harsh, almost white noise, vocals like Amduscia, but more like Hocico's "Blasphmeies in the holy land". Raw, but still somewhat comprehensive.
Anyone now a good fx-plugin for this matter?

I'm a big fan of amplitube and amp farm, but sometimes they're pretty full on, so if u set up an aux channel and just blend clean vox with th enow dirty as fuck dist. you can get some cool fx. A real tube preamp is always better tho.

Something that works good for that would be distortion pedals. I know Hocico has been known to use a pedal for live distortion.
