WOWAA... I am an addict and I have been clean for almost a year now.
Yes, 12 step WOWAA, it works! It works for other problems in life too, like alcohol, drugs, and sex. Although, I never considered to have problems with those parts of my social life.

Synthetik(Orc Shaman)/ Twilight's Hammer (EU)
but tried EVE Online and i think im gonna go with eve this time since its more relaxing and damn flying a spaceship on a huge "world" its more interesting than BGs and Arenas(oh and the Naxx raid which i did it on wow classic, talk about innovation :P)

I played for maybe a year (Eileifr, 70 dwarf rogue, Moon Guard), and exhausted everything I could get to. Quit last September and have no interest in returning. Boredom cures addiction.

Im with you. Never played it as well. I think Im immune for MMORPG's. Or RPG's as genre. They bore me after 1 week. Not enough action, not enough explosions, not enough bullet time, not enough aliens, not enough titanic battles and most of all, not the freedom to do whatever the hell I wanna do. Only notable exception is Oblivion. I fucking love that game. But really, if you wanna play a RPG, go play DnD or something. Thats with real people, and you have the ability to level entire cities to the ground, just 'because you can'. |

Agreeing with the "MMOs are boring" folks, but I did try Eve, and found, though it indeed was boring to play, that the soundtrack was exceptional, at least equivalent to Homeworld.

I used to play MMORPGS back in the day when I as in highschool. I stopped playing them around the time that WoW was first released. About 2 years ago I tried a WoW free 10 day trial. It just wasnt much fun to me - by the 5th day I was so utterbly bored of killing pigs/boars that I just stopped.

Absolutely agreed. Soundtrack is well done and downloadable so you can listen to it outside of the game. [DG is, of course, better :) ] |

Its an ok game. Have to admit it that leveling is the MOST BORING THING EVER!!! But once you hit 80, it's on. :)

Been playing off and on since a few days after launch. Right now I'm off, but I might be tempted to go back for Cataclysm or 3.3. Most of the people I talked to in game split off on their own over the past couple months, though. So the game would be pretty boring for me right now since the people I used to play with aren't around anymore.
But I do like how people on these forums have named their wow characters after their favorite musicians. =) I never met anyone who was into industrial on Aggramar but it would have been awesome if I did!

Just popped in to mention that I'm also a Warcraft fanatic. :P Mostly play on Scarlet Crusade and Wyrmrest Accord. F the haters - nothin' wrong with MMORPGs, in moderation of course...
