Cancellation is the only option really. If you suspend it, when do I play it? If you're a subscriber, it already gets priority so if you put it back into the queue, it's likely to be played at the next request period anyway.

Hi.
Just requested V2A - Stahl-Tanz. It queued as normal, then the status changed to "you have already requested a song today", without playing.

possible bug? with the request priority system, I had made a request for Kavorkian death cycle-how to nuke heaven, that being the only request in the que for sometime, then creepster came and requested I cry by Rottersand, she being the subscriber got priority, thats fine im cool with that, but the system said i have submitted a request already, I cry was played but how to nuke heaven was not, so a possible bug where a subscribers request cancels out a non subscribers request may exist. god speed and youll pay for that creepster

The priority wouldn't cancel out a request, doesn't work like that.
I'll look at that track but with the changes I made, track name should be irrelevant now. Keep the posts coming, I'll keep looking.

i do not understand what you mean the index page shows that your request is still in the queue to be played sometime in the future (Ascii.Disko - Jack Your Body To The Beat Requested by Drewthetexan) i am currently listening to JUNO REACTOR - Conquistador II (1:26 EST) edit: on an unrelated side note - i have seen that not all requested songs are played subsequently every time, they can get split into sets (not sure what will determine that though) |

NO! I like the request system. If there are glitches then, on the grand scheme of things, these are minor annoyances at best. Please keep the request system - a mostly functional system is way better than no system at all.
Please note - I just popped a request in the pipeline in protest :)

I was just kidding, it's just really hard to track these small issues, it seems to be a fairly rare occurrence and half the time, I spend a lot of time investigating and find out the song did in fact play :p

I listen to the station while working. The chances of me being distracted and not tuned in when a request plays is extremely high. I figure a lot of people will be in a similar position.
