Was a long time player, starting to get back into it.. just wondering if anyone else plays.

I have a pretty old school Automag (retro valve, minimag warp left body etc) that hopefully still shoots after 3 years in the basement :)

paintballing never really appealed to me.  airsoft seems more interesting.  of course paintball guns are not tactically realistic.  but neither are the ass holes rocking and rolling on airsoft for hundreds of rounds before a reload.  that is like every jack ass in a fight having a squad automatic weapon but not having to deal with the bulk and weight of lugging it around. that would annoy me.

I don't really play paintball to simulate warfare though - it's really just the fun of sneaking through the woods and being strategic.

Its illegal to play Paintball anywhere outside the special paintball ranges. Hell, I couldnt even play it in my own backyard without some asshole neighbor calling the cops <_<
Not that we got in trouble, they cant touch me when Im only playing in the backyard and not hitting any other houses. Asshole just called because they made such a noise.

Anyways, I did play it a few times when I was in Norway. That was awesome. Id play it more often if it wasnt so expensive to play for 30 minutes in one of those paintball ranges.

You would like my old neighborhood in the sticks with the sticks, SC.  Rapid fire from my M-4 carbine in my backyard 300 yard range was met by distant cheering rednecks and their own gunfire in response.  Hey, they were backwards as hell but great caring neighbors.

I used to play paintball a lot, but every one else i played with seemed to lose enthusiasm for it. I own a customized spyder. Specs: 20 in. barrel/ single, 3 round burst, and full auto rate of fire/ 2nd generation ventrurie bolt/ folding stock. It is a great gun, unfortunately it is just gathering dust in a cardboard box under my extra dirt bike parts. Hope to play again some time.
Thanks for starting the topic brought back good memories.
