The part that shows whats currently is not synchronized.

I know, it never really was but this is kinda weird. It used to be lagging a bit changing a few seconds after the next artist started playing, but now its just way to fast. The previous song is about halfway when it already changes to the next artist.

Its kinda weird.

Anyways, just wanted to let you know.

O_O

I know the player has synchronization issues with the 'now playing' thing. But its currently showing 5 songs into the future. Thats pretty extreme.

And yeah, Im listening to the subscriber stream =)

Oh yeah and sorry for bumbing this topic.

Hum, it definitely shouldn't be that far apart....

I am really tempted to just sync the sub/non-sub streams but it would mean being de-listed on Shoutcast.com which wouldn't be great :\

Well the sad thing is it apparently synchs the moment it plays a requested song, skipping a whole bunch of songs. In my case, it skipped a bunch of songs that I would have liked to hear. Not that its that big of a deal, but Im just letting you know.

Yes, it does, I actually have a hard time understanding how it gets out of sync. I mean, it's not like it plays songs any faster than the non-sub stream and since it syncs when a request is played, I can't figure out where the time is disappearing..

No, but honestly, the lag thing can be irritating, but mostly only when, personally, i'm not familiar with 3 or 4 songs played in a row and i'm not sure which is which. Usually it's ok if i have a base to judge by - a song/artist  i know - but it does seem to fluctuate 'twixt 1 or 2 songs. Right now it's showing Now Playing as 2 songs ahead of what's currently playing. My only real question is, is there a way i can judge this? So when multiple songs come up and i reeeeaaaally like one.......wait, nevermind. There's always the Database to sample +)

Use an MP3 player that streams song titles and it doesn't matter!
