Don't have a lot of time; just wanted to say that i've been gone from DG quite a while - though not somewhere else, just not able to listen to music much lately - and i just turned it on and what do i hear?

X-rx's Push it!

Thank you so much.

Oh.
WOW.

Is this what it feels like to get older and/or jaded and just somewhere along the line stop paying attention to concert tours...?

i do not like it!

When i first pulled up this thread my immediate thought was "Oh, that's a shame it's so far away. i would love to see FLA again since i always proclaim that they are my favorite band; ever. And it would be damn cool to see Ivardensphere too since DG turned me onto them. i had to look up DJ? Acucrack, but seems worthwhile as well. So within that short span of seconds, i ended up feeling a little bummed. But whatever. My thoughts are always over-brimming with far worse disappointments anyway.

Then i scrolled down and saw your waaaay too subtle "oh, and just in case this is not known"...

Sacramental Shite!!!

i'm not sure how much time passed, but when i could once again see straight and managed to pull myself up off of the floor and back into my chair i saw on the screen before me a most glorious sight. i couldn't exactly recall what had happened to me for i hurt and felt good in all the right and wrong places. Then i saw that distinctive emblazoned script upon my screen:

FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY vs DIE KRUPPS

Then, of course, it all made sense. The temporary loss of all senses and weakened physical condition marked by the presence of both pain and pleasure...

i had an aneurgasm

In case you're unsure, that's an explosive, debilitating, mental orgasm

You see, i had seen FLA and DK together (along with Numb) back in '96 here in Detroit. i already loved FLA for years previous to that, but it was the first time i was able to see them live (shame, i know).  It was a mixed crowd since most of the 'purists' at the time hated the introduction of the heavy guitars in Millennium; and Hard Wired seemed to be a weening apology back into pure electro. Hence the DnB feel of FLAvour of the Weak. But me? Nope. i never hate when i know a good thing. Good thing for me, that is. Might not be for you or yours, but honestly, that doesn't concern me.  All opinions are a matter of taste, and all tastes are a matter of opinion. I'd say irony, but that's inaccurate.

Just enjoy. Period

That sounds like the problem.. try disabling it completely.

You can also check by downloading another browser like Google Chrome and see if that shows the same symptoms.

Though i had noscript disabled, it seems i also had Adblock Plus - which i didn't even realize i had. Ah well, problem solved and my immense gratitude Shirow!

Have you installed any addons like NoScript?

Yes, i do have that, but from the onset, i 'allowed' anything and everything to do with this site. i haven't seen any symptoms of 'disavow-ness' here that i have seen on so many other sites.

True, it's definitely unique. But in my humble opinion, i present a better version... the best version and also musical video of what i tried to tell you was the BEST. EVER. Seriously, no living, dead or unliving being can convince me otherwise:

That's just my little humble opinion and i will never retract. But that's the end of my tirade and i won't belabor any longer...

Yeah, it was pretty bad i suppose. Guess i should work on reigning in those inner voices again...
12  General / Other Music / Re: Rap? on: April 09, 2011, 02:32:36 am
i'm gonna have to go with Marshall Mathers as my favorite RAPPER .. DR DRE endorsed. Listen to the lyryics, Eminem is straight up with the only love/hate.

btw, just because i got free time and i need a break from crocheting my second tube dress

Ooo... tube dress!! Pictures?! :)
took me about 4 days i think ... probably suffering CTS soon since i started a new one in grey/black
i'll have to adjust a few things in regard to sizing and pattern

Just as a note....you really shouldn't be teasing on a male dominated site ;)
Some will not know what to do with it;

But lots will

So, is the only problem that you don't see the DG logo? Or are you having other problems as well?

Well, now that you mention it...

When i reply in the forums i no longer have the options bar above the message window - Bold, Italic, Underline, Font Size & Color - all that jazzy jazziness. Don't know why i didn't think of it before since i have to use IE at work and have no problems there...so i tried IE at home after many years. And the problems aren't there. So it must have something to do with Firefox? i actually started using Firefox years ago when i first stumbled upon DG and the then-site advocated the use of Firefox. i had never heard of it but looked into it; and haven't looked back since. Really, i've had no issues with the browser, so i can only conclude this must be something to do with my settings and not the browser itself.

And really this isn't that big a deal, as obviously i can maneuver my way around it with a few extra clicks and typing - my fingers aren't so well versed at typing out the requirements for my friends Bold, Italic and Underline that bring so much more inflection to the read word. And i really don't know how to do Font Size/Color without the click of a button, but obviously i can look it up - i'm certainly not that lazy or inconvenienced.  i'm more concerned about the why and if it might be a bigger issue that i might have to look into.
