Bryan has been going through a lot of shite this past year. really rough times. anyway if you need an intro, try 'calling ov the dead' or 'twisted thought generator'. i'm still breaking in 'lust for blood' so i've no opinion yet, but then again i love VAC anyway.

er, flame on? Anyway, Epsilon is far from god-awful. but we all have our opinions. in my poor and humble opinion, ms Parkin's vocals take me to dreamy, orgasmic places. i don't see the Madonna correlation, but then i don't know her current stuff. i will howe'er admit to a long infatuation throughout mine adolescence and even adulthood. don't crucify me ;P Seriously though, how could you possibly hate them that much? it is beyond mine ability to understand. and again..that's just me. you'll just have to take Creepster's advice. Turn it down or don't listen when it comes on. Because i can't see that it will e'er be removed. And rightly so.

General / General Discussion / banner...or whate'er

By the gods, i know i am going to catch alot of shite for this, but, er, ok, i have a frelling myspace (i have my reasons, i have my reasons!!)
*waits for the hate-mob to subside a bit
Ha! Anyway, i use it to keep in contact with family and my best friend, who is a burgeoning musician in LA, far from me here in Detroit. so i kinda try to be an antimyspace myspace user. take it as it is. but i can guarantee you i am no conventional individual. now that i've wasted a few sentences justifying myself, i want to put up a banner or e'en player from DG on my site. You see, no one i know in the physical world e'en knows a thing bout this kind of music. the ones i once knew are far gone. so i'd like to advert you there a lil bit, at least enough that people don't go "oh, you listen to techno" ......really? really, really?
sigh
2nd anyway,so i've seen the link for the one banner from previous entries but i can't seem to get it to work. Does it still work or is my affliction asserting itself?

What exactly are the parameters of your Industrial show, SNM? i tend to use the term Industrial to lump a lot o shite together, because i can't be bothered with all the sub-genre nomenclature. Could you play, say Ministry's cover of 'Smothered Hope'? Or Trent's cover of 'Physical'? Zeromancer's 'Send Me an Angel'? Deathline's 'Wild Boys'? :wumpscut:'s 'All Cried Out'? Collide's 'The Lunatics Have Taken Over The Asylum' is paricularly fun. They also cover FLAs 'Predator', though it might qualify as more of a remix. God Module has 'A Night Like This'. 'Relax' by Kevorkian Death Cycle. Rammstein's 'Stripped'. There are the 2 Virgin Voices albums that are Madonna covers (yes you can make fun of me, but care not); the FLA cover of 'Justify My Love' and InfoSoc's 'Express Yourself' i particularly like. There are the Blackest Albums, tributes to Metallica as well as Die Krupps entire Tribute album to them. Plenty of NIN tributes too, though a lot are not so great. Guenter & En Esch's cover of 'Terrible Lie', Godbox's "The Only Time', 'George Sarah/Lara Peterson's "Something i Can Never Have', Transient's 'Closer' and Necromatik Sunshine's 'Hurt' are some of my favs. Probably too may tribute albums out there actually. i was pretty disappointed i one for Tool i picked up last year. oh well. This might very well all be pointless but i was bored. Now i'm tired.

Is Deathline Int'l not the right format for here? Some songs might be. What about Out Out? Numb? Unit 187? Some Penal Colony like 3rd Life and Freemasons off of 5 Man Job? just off the top of my head and i know they are older, but i'm not up on real current and obscure stuff. Not really a social scener, so i get alot of my new tastes from here. Oh and i thank you infinitely for having Pulse Legion on here, though i would like to hear Despair and Faith in Sin maybe? and some selections from the first album?
