You can delete all the spam posts - just delete the user instead of the posts individually, there's an option to delete all their posts.
Forum thing can be addressed by having recent posts on the front page.. that is my plan. I probably won't make the stars affect song rotation for exactly the reason you mentioned :)

Over the winter, I plan to sit down and rebuild DG to make it easier to use and easier for me to update. If you have any input on new features you'd like to see or things you'd like to see changed, here is your chance to speak up!
