Here's a few suggestions from a long time anonymous listener:

Doing band features?
Recording Interviews with bands?
Have you thought about doing any live show feeds?

IMO, Digital Gunfire is the best. I think I am actually addicted to it.

I do not mind psychobitch or combichrist, though moderation would be good, like the other people said. My favorite is the more soothing bands like And One and VNV Nation.

My favorite are the older more classic songs. More of those, without disturbing the entire mix on a macroscopic level, would be very nice.

Radio shows would be nice too :)

The jingle is fine, though it could be improved. I am all for the idea of asking some artists to pitch in. It's amazing that some of the artists played on DG actually listen to it directly, and make jingles.

I am in EST, and do all my listening at school or in the evenings (in the evenings especially - I can't turn it off)

DG has completely changed my musical tastes to something that I would never had imagined. Now I have bought more than 25 CDs of bands that I have heard on DG because I like it so much. Thanks so much, DG and Simon Westlake.

It would also be nice to hear Simon talk every now and then :) I dunno, just my opinion.

I'm not into podcasts, but it's a good idea for those that like it. I too would like a way of listening to DG in my car, though this is near impossible. Laptop and a script to automatically steal wireless connections maybe? If I ever do this, I'll definately put the script up here for you all :) (I also run Linux on my laptop so the script won't work with Windows)

Anyway, those are my thoughts, hope they were somewhat valuable to you.

Let's keep this going, since the entire site is currently undergoing a redesign. Your feedback will definitely be used!

I'll tell you what I've built so far (or plan to build)

List on front page of last 25 added albums to the stream
List on front page of last 10 songs played with album information
List of popular forum topics on front page
A searchable song database that shows the album a song came from (and the songs from each album currently being played on DG)

I have some other ideas, but keep your input coming, it is very helpful..

I also plan to try to bring the 'Shows' idea online but I need a bit of assistance with getting some jingles made, if anyone would like to volunteer.. I don't have much of a radio voice... (probably a bad hobby to have.. :p)

I'm sure you sound fine.  If you sound really weird it would be cool.  I'm not sure if I want to hear some smooth talking morning DJ on here.

This looks like a pretty cool board.  I'm excited for the unveiling of the new web page.

Yep, very nice. I particularly like to see album information. I have several text files on multiple computers with names of good songs, but not always with the album info (i.e. I don't know on which album a particular song or mix is available). I would certainly appreciate an option where I quickly can click a link on the site which adds the current song/album information on some kind of list, perhaps even with some personal rating option. It would then be much easier for me to compile a list of the next couple of albums that I wanna buy. Sort of a shopping cart, but only for compiling data purposes.

Very interesting idea... I will try to work on something like this tonight!

Yeah, the theme will likely get changed. Just wanted to get something up so we had somewhere to hang out during the transition.
