As much as I don't care for them, I really don't see what the big deal is. There are many artists I cringe at when they're played, but I'm not going to start up a complaint thread. It's not like Angelspit is going to be played all day...

Hey guys, I like talking about the bands I hate more than the bands I like.  When someone brings up a band I don't like I just can't help myself, I have to throw my two cents in.  I know I could just focus on the things I like instead, but that seems like it would be pretty annoying to everyone around me and a big waste of time to people who might enjoy the same things that I do.

Probably pissed that his thread got derailed. DG forum topics are like diving boards into a swamp. You never know what will come up when you jump in.

i never chimed in on the original Angelspit hate thread because personally i had never heard them on DG whilst listening. Or rather, if i did, i never hated what i was hearing enough to check who was playing and think to meself "holy F#@&*)*%^, who is this and why am i listening to it?!?!?" Actually i like all three tracks that Funker posted and i listened to each three times to make sure (i have a personal philosophy of trying any given thing three times before making a judgement).

More important point in fact is that i do not believe i have ever heard anything on DG that i hated. Even if there might be something that i might possibly dislike, DG is a radio station after all and is not called 'My-personal-playlist-of-what-i-like-and-only-what-i-like. If you never want to expose yourself to anything new, well, that's what your personal collection and/or computer media player is for. Simple.

Too bad if Funker did leave, though i can understand i suppose. It can be pretty intimidating to just join something and get inundated with negativity. Hell, it took me a couple of years of listening to DG before i even signed up. Then it took me at least a year or so before i first spoke up. Then i took over a year without ever voicing meself because i let something as silly as what someone commented about a comment i made affect me. Some people are more affected by things than each of us as individuals can relate to or understand on a personal experience level. Could be that he is young too and/or figured "fuck it, it's not worth my time nor energy."

I applaud you for having made the post that made the most sense ever since people starting hating on Angelspit in this thread as well. Just awesome =)
