My guess, rather than pursuing and promoting a new side project, he just took this one in a wholly different direction.  It's not bad, but it's not "Grendel", either.

I will admit I am a tad bit iffy about it, I mean Im someone that doesn't like change to much, but maybe change is good and sometimes needed. Plus it opens our ears maybe they might just be like oh wait we want to change it back lol and then come out with a new new album or something.

Yea know like the slurm thing from futurama haha.
