I would like to suggest something by a group called Earline. Please don't be misguided by all the pink lips, etc...The song "Fiction" is available for download...

Would it be too far of a leap to suggest some IDM in the vein of Aphex Twin and Venetian Snares? Or is that not the direction you intend to take the station? They're all over the place, Come To Daddy by AFX is definitely dark and angry enough to get on here. Quick change of pace never hurt anybody.

They are all on RIAA affiliated labels.

Now, I don't know anything about whether or not the labels are with the RIAA, but I haven't heard any Zeromancer or Wolfsheim on here. I'm not necessarily sure they would fit in with the other music you play, but I've always thought they were awesome. :D

pretty sure zeromancer is on riaa label and wolfshiem i think used to be played. Shirow knows a site where you can search to see if an album is on an riaa affiliated label but i don't have the link anymore.

Ah, well, I haven't been listening that long, and I did a search and nothing came up for Wolfsheim. :)
Thank you for linking that site, though!

Wolfsheim was on an RIAA label, IIRC, but it's been a while since I checked.

I'm normally into harsher and heavier bands but might I suggest:

Fairlight Children (Apop sideproject)
and something by ComputorGirl - seeing as it's near impossible to get hold of a proper copy of the ComputorGirl EP.

Other Suggestions include:
Echo Image
Goteki - (sadly now parted ways but excellent - try Goteki O/S album)
and a personal favourite - Deathboy (from the uk, he has his entire back catalogue up online - only got a band together around four years ago but was releasing stuff through mp3.com when it used to be free - checkout www.deathboy.co.uk  -  i have nothing to do with this band and haven't even seen them live but the music has helped me through a lot of rough patches, and his style varies)

I suggest E Nomine.

Truely a unique band.  Many of their songs totally own.  Das Omen, Mitternacht, Das Tier in Mir, Vater Unser Part I and II, and I have a sweet mix of Schwarze Sonne that rocks the house.

yay! Mitternacht is one of the greatest songs ever. Never fails to put a big grin on my face.

Is Iris in the playlist?

Their singles are pretty decent.
