I would love to see some Celldweller, great drum and bass among other stuff. Off the self title I recommend Switchback & The Last Firstborn. The Take it & Break it Remixes are great too for Frozen, Own Little World & Switchback. All of Wish Upon a Blackstar, So, other singles - Birthright, Shapeshifter, & Erasus by Subkulture. Along with this style how about the album In Silico by Pendulum.
Not fully sure if these are a style for DG but at least something to look into for electro none-the-less.

I suggest E Nomine.
Truely a unique band. Many of their songs totally own. Das Omen, Mitternacht, Das Tier in Mir, Vater Unser Part I and II, and I have a sweet mix of Schwarze Sonne that rocks the house.
Those are all great songs I would also add Deine Welt to that list. |

Pretty much my favourite song is 'Mauerradio' by Patenbrigade:Wolff. Listened to it so many times when I first discovered it that I sung it in my sleep.

Hocico got a new single out, "Dog Eat Dog" - it's just another couple of run-of-the-mills average
hocico songs, but useful for replacing some of the old with, for variation...
Also, HIV+ (a noise project) are sometimes melodic enough to qualify as EBM,
like Schäden (Obszon Geschopfs vocal mix) (couldn't find any samples)

I think the albums from PainBastard could use an update. I'd like to have Borderline, Nictophobia, and No Need To Worry in the mix at any rate. You've got their first three albums now and I think the new ones are on the same label. Also, PainBastard has a really lovely MySpace page. I'd also like to see more Leæther Strip such as the album After The Devastation. That's from the Alfa Matrix label so maybe you can't get that. Those are my random suggestions for today. :-) |
