How about Left Spine Down's newest remix album, "Smartbomb 2.3"?
I swear I'm not just saying that because I did one of the remixes... there's a lot of cool versions on there.
Also, much as I love the tracks you have up from ohGr's "Devils In My Details," how about some stuff from Welt and SunnyPsyOp? Also his new song "Collidoskope" kicks ass and he just released a fan remix album for free, I hear there's some killer versions on it.
Anyway, just wanted to throw those out there. Love this site, I listen to it almost every day!

Headhunter by Front 242, Rammstein & Laibach (live) front242 is already in the music database (go have a look) most of the stuff from rammstein is RIAA affiliated and therefore not suitable for DG (make yourself familiar with the DG policy) as for laibach i just lost any interest and motivation to find out |

Could save a lot of wasted time. Other than that, we just have to show patience (or we don't) and help along.. i will say that RIAA's site hasn't been treating me well lately... can't get shite for affiliated bands out of it lately...anyone else or just me and my shite isolated connection? Anyway, as always...just sayin... |

Anyway, as always...just sayin... having people read and "sign off" some policies wont work i mean, how often did i click "accept" when installing programs without ever bothering reading through all the disclaimer pretty sure that's the most common behavior and therefore wont guarantee that RIAA affiliated bands wont be mentioned again anymore also does not help that this thread spans 25 pages and nobody will read through all posts since not all of them contain music suggestions but branch into side topics (q.e.d.) the best solution would be a sticky, locked, single post thread where shirow lists all suggested bands alphabetically and modifies the post each time a new band is mentioned it would be even more detailed if behind each band is a short description as to whether the band is already in the DG music database, RIAA affiliated, are not yet integrated or no material is available |

Headhunter by Front 242, Rammstein & Laibach (live) front242 is already in the music database (go have a look) AHEM...THAT (Headhunter) is actually not in the 242 list...;P well ... too bad buy the cd and listen to it when ever you want? the chances a specific song you WANT to hear playing on DG WHILST listening at THIS particular moment are slim enough not to bother wanting specific songs in the music database, thus played i am not shedding a tear if specific songs of any particular band are not in the database as shirow mentioned before, not complete albums are represented but individually picked songs (i am not sure if that's also done to optimize the use of storage space ... those mp3s have to come from somewhere and the more selective you are the broader the variety of bands you can offer) |
