Interested in developing an application for Digital Gunfire? I'm always happy to see people making desktop apps, 'phone apps or other things for DG, so thanks in advance!

You can pull a lot of information about the stream from http://digitalgunfire.com/server.xml

The layout of this XML file should be pretty obvious but let me know if there are any questions.

A few requests.

  • Please append a variable to your XML request so I can identify your app. Something like server.xml?application=myapp is fine.
  • Please do not poll the XML file more than once every 120 seconds. This server isn't amazingly powerful and I don't want the box getting crushed (or my connection getting flooded) by unruly applications. Bear in mind this server sources the stream so if you crush this server, you crush DG!
  • Please post a link to your app here and keep the link updated. You're welcome to charge for your app if you'd like, just follow the rules above.

That's it - any questions, let me know!
