Being an avid listener to all sorts of music, it dawns on me that although new music is absolutely great (in all senses of the word), some thought and maybe a bit of airplay should be considered for the forefathers of the DG music genres. Where would we be without the likes of Depeche Mode, Soft Cell, Gary Numan, The Cure, OMD, Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream to name but a few. I Know that there is an almost never ending back catalogue of classic synth music, but it might be nice to hear a bit once in a while without having to dig out the vinyl or cd's.

Keep up the good work.

im not sure in how far RIAA restrictions would take place
please keep in mind that dg only plays unaffiliated bands and projects, so i wouldnt know if it is possible to play 'oldies'

personally i cannot see that either cure or omd belong into the playlist, or kraftwerk for that matter
im a big fan of the latter two, but even with the *effect* on today's music i cannot see them being suitable

why not rather ask for throbbing gristle, blackhouse, the tear garden, doubting thomas, armagedon dildos, consolidated and a'GRUMH ?
