Lyrically, I'd have to say that Icon of Coil is definitely superior to Combichrist.

This has got to be the silliest forums on here so far. There is no comparing Combichrist and Icon of Coil. Sebastian had a huge hand in composing most of Icon of Coil, whilst Andy is the main programmer for Combichrist. Of course they are going to be different sounds. If you want to compare music, try comparing Combichrist and Scandy. And how did Suicide Commando get into this forum? Are you guys running out of topics? And, Prognosis dude......would this be Shane? If not, tell Shane to hit me up when he gets time. He knows where to find me.....Unavox. Oh, and I'm a bigger fan of IOC myself. -'preciates-

seems like this group of people don't know that if I O C was still around ,how many cd's did they actually make & sales were so damn horrible, forget about live shows...........sucked just as bad................hey hippie lettuce smokers.....(i mean I O C ) lovers (you all should be just gay) stop this nonsense and move on (straight) forward.i support industrial music....... metropolis........cleopatra..........alfa-matrix......actually support independent labels......you jackasses are all freeloaders........... do something good for your independent labels....& then maybe someday you all will find out where I O C stands......... till then no more hippiie lettuce for any of you.

i have seen icon of coil live twice both times i had a great time and i do not think their live shows suck (but i did thought that about god module, but that's beside the point)

Theory is when you know everything and nothing works. Practice is when things work, and no one knows why. Here we combine theory and practice. Nothing works and no one knows why.

Umm, you have to be the most ignorant person on here i have met yet. IOC had bad record sales? And their live show was horrible too? How many times did you actually see IOC? And how many times did you see them fill arenas? And the fact they had so many albums is because the fans were buying them. IOC is a hippie lettuce lovers music? Man you must be smoking some damn good shit cuz you really have no clue at all. Without IOC even being formed in the long run if you ask me Combichrist more then not would have never been a thought in lil Andy's head. And you follow industrial blah blah blah (insert labels here like it means something.) And this lil rant of ignorance was suppose to prove what to me? Im all bout listening to people's opinions but in a manner of intelligence. And stating that people that like some band that you dont are hippie lettuce lovers? Whatever this lame lil analogy is suppose to mean. And the complete ignorance of this is as such.. IOC (IS) listen to me.. "IS" still around they are actually reuniting to make yet another album and or another tour they actually already did come back together and do a few little shows. I dont know where you really get your info from. But if your regulating IOC's popularity here alone in the states, then you need to broaden yourself greatly. And being that mostly you stated Metropolis, Cleopatra and Alfa-matrix are ALL more then not just US based labels. You really dont have a clue as you yell on top of your milk crate there. And to state you support Metropolis as a "independent" label as being the ones you support is the dumbest thing i heard you say yet. That has to be the biggest label here in the states to boot. And correct me if im wrong, but what band on Cleopatra is industrial? I dont remember one, i remeber more goth then anything. Closest last thing i remeber on that label being big was Switchblade Symphony. Cleo is a goth, goth rock and at the moment anymore a Heavy Metal label. You want some good labels to look into? Just a couple off my head here.. but these are industrial labels..COP International and Noitek.
Bottom line is this.. You dont like IOC thats great. Not everone likes the same thing. But if your gonna get on a high horse. Have a saddle to ride on before you mount it...

I hope that they reunite!!! I love IOC. I haven't really been able to get into Combichrist and have just recently starting getting into Panzer Ag.
