So, does DG get credit for purchases of a different version of the linked album? I'd imagine not as it doesn't include the handy referral tag in the URL.

If not, could you also link to the Amazon MP3 album version?

I've picked up a couple albums based on good tracks I've heard on DG that way and want to make sure that you're getting your slice of the pie.

I am planning to add the Amazon MP3 links soon, but it's a bit of a manual process unfortunately.

Sure, if you enjoy slowly generating links and copying and pasting them into a DB :)

This should be added to the site in the next few days.

Have you used the Amazon MP3 system a lot? I'm contemplating using it to get new music for DG, as it's quite a bit cheaper than CDs..

Do they let you redownload songs you've paid for?

I've picked up four albums off of them. Only complaints I have is that there were a few songs that were non-standard versions and didn't have the ID3 tags filled out appropriately. i.e. missing a (live version) or a (WTF mix by LOLOCAUST) in the song title field.

They don't allow redownloading, but seem to usually be about five bucks cheaper than the physical CD each and usually undercut iTunes by about a buck.

The actual files are VBR MP3s at ~250kbps.
