I finally uploaded the traffic video to youtube, linkage

Like Tony said, traffic is much slower. There was one car accident that I saw, but it was raining, and away from the city.

I didn't remember the radio in the background.

What are you doing out in China, Tony? You seem to be all over the place.

Hey thanks for that welcome back.
In the middle of Labrador is a huge hydro power station that provides a lot of power to New York.
We do the underwater erosion control and analysis.  And we are living in the camp lifestyle most of the time.
But the rig I wear is not quite like what you described.  Ya we are in the woods but it is fairly technical diving operations with video on the water control structures.

Oh wow, that's badass. Is it at the Churchhill falls power station?

OK cool.  I think I just figured out how to make the same like page reply.

That's actually pretty cool.

Drewthetexan. I get mixed up real easy with this stuff.  I am better at taking apart things or welding them together.  U/W. or on land.  But I like that image you got.  When I figure out how to get it in.  I will put in an image of myself in a kirby morgan superlite 37K.  Give my profile an U/W industrial look.

And of coarse what I meant to say but it got deleated twice cause I did something not quite right in the posting.
Churhill Falls Labrador.  ( CFL co ).  Good work.  Perfect geographical naming.  And a great continuing event of Canadian politics.  One of the issues that threatens to break this country apart yet I hope that aspect is still just fiction.
I could go into more of that shite but in this case just let the old dog rest for another 25 years, as is written.  And in the mean time I get a 4 week shot of routine casual work in the woods twice a year to mix in with other contracts.  Life is a hell like laugh as we become what we do.  I gotta go check out my welding machine right now.  Later dude,  Cheers.

Hey Hunter, I see what you mean now. No worries. Welding is an art, and I'm sure you are pretty damn good at that.

I was reading a little on churchhill falls. That's pretty impressive what they've done up there.

Hey Texan.  Ya they have about 50 miles of low level damming for resovoir increase and with that there are 4 water control towers for continuous supply to supply 11 turbines.
When not busy with U/W employ.
Industrial design and carving steel is my chozen medium.   It started with video sets.
Then stage sets for industrial bands.  But now I carve with fire and weld.  Just getting my shop/studio set up and by next spring maybe summer, I want to do a show.    Recycle cold sharp angry metal into soft human friendly designs.  On the most part, human friendly.

That. Was fucking hilarious. =) i made my brother and his wife watch it and they were on board and laughed until the last minute. =o it broke that golden rule of film to them and then they swore at me for making them watch it. Way i see it can best be described axiom-ly...."what's good for the goose..." or "all's fair..."

first of all, i really like the music (just a sucker for anything dance-y and beats) and there's a lot of other songs i enjoyed listening to

alas i think respirators and facemasks are sooooo a decade before the last millenium and i am not sure if the shorter keyboarder is a bearded lady ...
i had a good chuckle nonetheless at all their acting abilities

either that sort of dace style has become overly popular (what do i know these days, i have not been clubbing in like 5 years) or there's only so many dancers getting around for videos in that music genre

i just looked at faderhead's "TZDV" and one guy had the exact same moves
still wearing that gawd-awful respirator, but with red, red arm bands and short hair

Eisenfunk is pretty good, although sometimes a little simplistic in structure.

As for the dancing, its kinda hard to say. Ive been to a few gigs and the people who actually danced kinda danced like that. But then again, the amount of people that were actually dancing was like maybe 10% of the whole crowd. The rest was either awkwardly shuffling on the beat or just looked at the guys performing on stage. Still, its a fun way to dance :P

As for the stuff people are wearing in the vid, meh, thats pretty...eh...common I suppose.
