If you're up for it, I recently picked up a Compilation CD from an Ex-Girlfriend (while she was still the girlfriend) and it had a bunch of tracks that were really good and some I had never heard of before. These songs are two of the songs I have not heard and can only surmise information about.
1) The band sounds kinda' like Andi from Icon of Coil (in his early years) and the Lyrics contain this "When I look at you to *leave* there's nothing else that I gotta' say. 'Cause I melt into your eyes girl." *leave* is presumed I cannot make out the word in it's entirety.
2) The Female Vocalist sounds like Anne Clarke and the sound of the song is more-or-less like Rotersand. The Lyrics contain "Are you still mine? Emotion is so divine. How can I find my way, out of this poisonous lie. Are you still mine?"
These songs are rather EBM / Futurepop.
On this Compilation are also the following:
Virtual><Embrace - Dark Room Edge of Dawn - Blackheart Grendel - Hate this Noisuf-X - Hit me hard and hit me fast Diorama - Synthesize me Mind.In.A.Box - Crossroads Seabound - The Promise Apoptygma Berzerk - Love to Blame Destroid - Bird of Prey
Any help I can get finding links that will eventually get me to my destination are greatly appreciated...
Off to go mix,

No one has a clue? I don't even know where else to ask about this kind of thing. Does anyone have any helpful tools / resources that help them find songs / bands?

Apparently 'Hate This' has only been on a compilation CD called 'Rape this Industrial World Vol. 2' But I really can't find anything about it. I'll continue to look tomorrow though.
Actually, looking at Discogs the above statement is totally wrong. Like swampfoetus, the closest I could find was Zillo. Do you remember anything else about the CD? Artwork or a title?

First song is 'Melt into your eyes" by Faderhead off of his album FH1. Don't have time to look at the second one yet, I'll try to post it later today if i can ;)

Theory is when you know everything and nothing works. Practice is when things work, and no one knows why. Here we combine theory and practice. Nothing works and no one knows why.

I think it's fair to guess that this was a burnt disc with a bunch of random stuff on it since with that much information i think it'd be impossible to not find the disc if it was an actual released compilation or something lol And sorry, I'm at a loss as to what the second song there is... :S

My guess is that if someone said that these songs appear on a compilation torrent somewhere, my guess would be that they just burned that to a CD.
