It's an awful lot of jobs going, and it'll be a big hit to the economy, but I kind of feel that they got what was coming to them. =\

well GM has no one to blame but themselves, for years instead of investing in making quality automobiles, they just kept pumping out oversized and over priced SUVs, then when gas prices reached high levels, people made the decision to buy economical sedans and small cars, and guess who wasnt there to offer well made cars that were efficient on gas? GM and Ford, so seriously F them, this is their own doing, it really is for the better, survival of the fittest, out of the rubble will come something better. Yeah It sucks that all these people are going to loose jobs and its going to get alot worse before it gets better. But its a tough lesson that the ones in charge need to learn, but its a shame that the poe foek are going to suffer more than the higher ups. I extend my Middle finger to you American Auto makers

My only experience with Pontiac was a used 1992 Sunbird. It was literally shaking itself apart, but it was a blast to drive. Nissan Pathfinder took out the rear axle. RIP

I still drive a '97 grand prix with about 160k on the odometer. I'll drive the thing till it dies!!! Although, I only drive it a couple times a month, I commute and ride my motorcycle practically everywhere - makes CostCo a much cheaper excursion.
