I have two friends who are really into Psytrance. I even went to an Infected Mushroom concert, before IM "sold out." Can't seem to get into it... maybe you have to be on e to understand the genre.

Been mixing New Age into my workday mix, Enigma's A Posteriori is brilliant. It's kind of like classic Juno Reactor, having cinematic-oriented composition. Where Juno Reactor (literally) scripts a soundtrack for a futuristic action flick, A Posteriori seems to be scripted for what I can only assume would be some epic pornography. Across all the tracks is an excellent variation of space - musical elements fly in close and personal and then drift into echoing distances. The album shares similar tribal tendencies with Juno Reactor's Shango, and of course features some damned-sexy beats.

Eppur Si Muove, the first track, starts softly and recalls the same gentle brasswork tune every Enigma album is apparently required by law to open with. After some Italianesque monk warbling, the beat kicks in and an energizing flight through phasing syths and minimalist vocals follows.

Dreaming of Adromeda is a funky chill track with muted drumwork, where I assume Enigma intends for you and your mate to relax after thoroughly grinding through the opener track.

Dancing with Mephisto is the kinky groove of the album, complete with eerie androgynous vocals. This is where the album is most personal, and it's very friendly.

Sitting on the Moon is the nearest thing to radio-friendly on the album, thematically-inverse to Walking on the Moon by the Police, focusing on estrangement and longing. Distant, high-flying synths accompany the vocals. Pulsing synths, muted drums, and synthpop basework round out the spacey track.

In case the previous track makes you think Enigma sold out... to ... uh... some entity or other... immediately following is the surprisingly hard (for New Age) The Alchemist, which opens with bubbling syths interrupted by a relatively dirty bass guitar chugging routinely - just like in a half-assed Nu-metal band. This supports eerie, warbly synths. Upbeat rhythms bring the funk to it all. It works.

Overall, the energetic rhythms in A Posteriori make excellent work music, though the sheer sexyness of it may inadvertently lead to shagging coworkers... use with caution.

I like alot of music but indistrial is definatly my favourite & the only music genre i activly seek out new artist for. I also listen to a fair bit of metal but not to much i tend to stay with what i know on that front. Also like a bit of trance, drum & bass with me you can probly garantee that anything that i genuinly like that has a sub genre ill probly like a bit of that to.

Im also really wierd with music as ill like a random song from a film or something then hear other songs & just be like wow there really shit this is there only good song! I do this alot so i have alot of random ones on my computer.

I dont like country, rap,hip-hop, RnB, not so keen on classical but i will listen to it if i have to.

I like some old school goth rock. Classics like sisters of mercy and joy division and stuff like Siouxsie And The Banshees. Also trance, house, other electric stuffs.

And there a few select hiphop artists i'd consider a guilty pleasure

I like all types of music, and i mean ALL types. BUT mainly into. Industrial/EBM first and foremost. My biggest love next to industrial/ebm. Is actually COUNTRY (old country, honkeytonk, bluegrass) I hate all the new stuff that is out though.. because it isnt even really country. But i love the greats.

Like Waylon, Cash, Willie, Charlie Pride...

Country and Industrial/EBM are complete opposites. But those are my main loves.

My favorite music of all time is industrial-metal. Static-X tops the list along with Mushroomhead and Celldweller. I'm also into metal fusion bands such as Skindred (Reggae/Metal/Punk/Hip hop). Also Mastodon kicks major ass.

personally my favorite genres outside of industrial happen to be various types of metal (mainly melodic death metal/folk metal) along with hard rock, alternative rock, alternative music (as in alternative not-rock), symphonic, punk, and most techno/trance/video game music
