I'm a little back on the bandwagon again (you can never quit wow), but not raiding or doing
anything that implies any kind of pressure...  and playing pretty casual...

it's a fair criticism that it's repetive as shit, but I find it still fun to play nonetheless...

But I do like how people on these forums have named their wow characters after their favorite musicians.  =)  I never met anyone who was into industrial on Aggramar but it would have been awesome if I did!

Haven't named any char after a favourite musician, but my hunters pet is a black pig named "Wumpscut", if that counts...

I've been playing for about a year.  A co-worker of mine suggested it to me.  I used to play Neverwinter Nights online (a lot), and love Dungeons and Dragons.  I've been hooked to WoW ever since.

I play both factions, but mostly Horde.  I have a level 80 now (Unholy Blood Elf DK) that's dual spec.  I'm working on a Blood Elf Paladin (lvl 63), and just rolled a Troll Shaman.

I play on Argent Dawn (Horde), and Wyrmrest Accord (Alliance).

...oh yeah when I play I listen to Digital Gunfire.  :D

I know I know.  I need a break from Horde every now and then.  I like to play a lot, wether it's WoW, DnD (and yes I play -and- like 4th edition), or Magic: the Gathering.

Regardless of the game I'll have several characters (or in the case of M:tG decks) to choose from.

I've been conned into playing WoW again.  New content is alright so far, but I'm still not terribly impressed. -.-

Oh yeah, that definitely counts.  ;)  Someone like me would pick up on that right away.

Reminds me of when I saw an orc warlock named "Nekrataal" in Orgramaar.  I realized where he got the name from right away, so I sent him a tell saying something like, "when you log into the game do you destroy the nearest nonblack creature?"  He gave a "haha" and we talked about MTG for a little bit.  It was cool.  =)

I have a lot of characters.

My main is my BElf DK (which is 80), but I also have a few others Horde wise on Argent Dawn.  Right now I'm playing an Undead Warrior I named Bhoultz.  He's an engineer with spikes for hair.  How industrial!

what char's do you have?

  • Main (and only 80 atm) is an undead rogue - been my main since I first logged onto wow at release day.
  • Have a troll mage at level 76 that I'm horribly bored of and probably won't level to 80 any time soon
  • Got a priest I started levelling a long time ago, then left.. picked it up the other day and now it's at 71. Levelling it almost exclusively through dungeon healing (btw, everyone should try that - best lesson in psychiatry one can get - or, well, I guess hardcore raid leader beats it with a mile)

except for that, a bunch of alts, that I typically level to around 20. Deleted 4 of those the other day to make more space...

All horde, except maybe an alliance rogue at level 20'ish

I used to play quite a bit; did raiding and everything. However, the amount of commitment needed for that got to be a little much... With the amount preparation involved, the ENORMOUS set blocks of time, evolving gear requirements, and having to wrangle 25 people over vent towards a singular goal got me feeling a bit like I'd taken on a third job...

Now I just play casually when I have the time. Most of the people I used to play with have long since quit, and others I had a bit of a fallout with. So, I've rolled some new toons and made a fresh start after a brief hiatus. I have quite a few different ones, but undead rogue is and always will be my favorite race/class combination.

For casual players like me the new "dungeon finder" tool has been a godsend for doing small group content. I can find people now for whatever dungeon I want, whenever I want, without having to adhere to a guild schedule or other such crap. Of course, you have to like PUGs, but that's not an issue for me. I kind of enjoy the challenge, actually.

Hooked on the bloody game as well.
And is it just me or does this game have enormous frustration-boosting qualities... I usually "cool down" after an evening of frustration by playing Borderlands (FRAG IT!) and TitanQuest (SMASH IT!) for the next few nights.
Done some DDO (D&D online) but realising i'd spend the next three years trying to get some nice powered toon and some acceptable gear just like in WoW - by running from and to the same things over and over and over...... i quit. And looking back at WoW.... i suddenly play a lot less.
Got me some free audio-software instead. Good fun and somewhat more productive. ;)
...
Still on the EU realm of Nordrassil btw.
And it's true. This game is a permanent stain on the soul... ;)

I started playing a few months after BC came out. My ex got me into it, and after we broke up her BF hacked my acct. So I did unto him what he did unto me. All fair in my book.

Now I am on my 2nd account. I play Horde (Alot of DG ppl play Horde! FTW), WoW is a highly addicting game, anyone who says it isn't is a liar, liar pants on fire!!!!!111!!11

I am a hard core PvP player on the PvP Realm: Dark Iron. I got me a lvl 80 Undead Rogue >:D and he will eat your cookies after ganking you!!

With almost 25k kills, yeah I got problems :P But when it comes to PvP & Battlegrounds, it's either DG, Pandora or Last.fm for my industrial fix. Hell I remember one time I was listening to DG and Suicide Commando came on during a BG and that was it, no one survived XD

As of 6 months ago, I went from hardcore PvP player to hardcore PvP player who joined a casual raid guild (yea go figure) I have helped them out a ton with ICC and they know on the weekends during the day is my time alone to PvP :P

Alright m done here for now lol, shame on the creator of this thread lol jk jk
