I'm probably not the first one to notice this, but when I request a song it takes almost an hour or more to play. WHY?

US laws regarding song scheduling.

Plus, if I just scheduled everyones requests immediately, all you'd ever hear is requests.

That's true. But seriously it's been like an hour and half since my last request. Good thing most of the stuff I didn't request is good too.

I only play requests every 2 hours, and only 2 at a time max. So it could be 10 minutes or 8 hours :)

Sometimes I don't have my requests played at all. At one time they disappear from the Requested songs list on the main page and it just says I have made a request already. I waited for 8 hours one day and still it was not played.. That happens to me VERY often, which is sad.. Because it's such a magical feeling when MY SONG is played on my favourite radio station. :-)

shirow asked to let him know with specific details in these particular cases, because there might be a problem with file naming/tagging and fetching from the database

Theory is when you know everything and nothing works.
Practice is when things work, and no one knows why.
Here we combine theory and practice.
Nothing works and no one knows why.

Yes, please post in the song request issues thread (or even make a new one) if a specific song doesn't play and I will look into it.
