In my opinion few others have had the success and longevity of Mr.Ratzinger and his glorious Wumpscut love child. Albulm after Albulm he puts out quality music and continues to impress even approaching 20 years in the business, Good show Rudy, Good show

I can't answer the poll
I absolute love most of the stuff up to and including Eevil Young Flesh. I also recognize Wreath of Barbs as a quality record.
Everything after that... well, it's certainly not made for me... can't stand the stupid "1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 I can count ot eight I can count to eight I can count to eight I can count to eight" lyrics... really ruins it for me...
I think when Rody made his best records, he wasn't a very skilled musician, but outweighted it with brilliant ideas and hard work/perfectionism... now he's better at that, but there doesn't seem to be a passion behind the songs anymore... it's just one record after another of speedily recorded stuff about nothing...

Wumpscut really set the tone for alot of acts that exist today. With work like EmbryoDead and the earlier stuff. But he quickly abandon is good sound..to me. And i find most of his work since.. boring.

Wumpscut definately has some great songs. I usually tend to really like 2-3 tracks from each of his records, but most of them I end up skipping over after a while.
His stuff is very solid, structured, and repetitive; a quality that works brilliantly in a few of his songs, but makes many others irritating and hard to listen to.
And I don't know who the female vocalist is that he uses in his newer stuff, but I just can't stand her voice. She either needs to learn how to sing in key, or throw a bunch of distortion/vocoder in; like Rudy does with his voice.

Some \\//\\// stuff is pretty damn good, but on any given album there's usually an annoying number of "filler" songs, and whoever was bitching about the female vocals is spot on; she's terrible.
All in all, good band with a solid body of work but not the ne plus ultra of industrial as some would say.

To my surprise, Fuckit is actually quite good... First :wumpscut: I have liked (and bought) since Eevil Young Flesh/Wreath of Barbs. Lyrics seems like he wrote them in 5 minutes in the bathroom, but I'm managing to live with it...
